THE BEST ANTI-AGING MEDICINE
It’s back to school time. 🥳
I can’t tell you how much I learn from my children. At the beginning of the school year, I see their excitement. They are excited to meet new people.
My daughter would come home and tell me she is making new friends. She has all these new things and ideas that she wants to try this year.
That courage to put herself out there, try new things, be curious, being creative, makes me excited as well. But it also makes me think…
As we get older we start to lose this resilience or courage to try new things. We are bounded by our responsibilities, worries, pressures, and roles in our life.
We lose sight of nurturing our natural strengths, interests, preferences, and even who we truly are.
Observing my own daughter, I want to be like her!
There are some ways that I think we can invite our inner child back into our lives.
It’s as easy as just asking yourself as many times as you need every day…
“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵?”
Here is what I want…
👉 Make time for fun and creativity
👉 Do things that rejuvenate me instead of draining me
👉 Try new things, and have fun with it
Practicing creating space between our feelings, thoughts, and behavior,
Acknowledging and embracing all emotions within us,
Rebuilding our relationship with our deeper self…
Knowing that our inner child is still within us,
And that inner child is fun, bold, and creative,
and that we have the ability to learn new skills.
The feeling is both safe and empowering. ✨
We all talk about anti-aging these days. To be young, we need to feel young right?
So, what do you REALLY want? 😊
