”The people who live by the character ethic have strong roots, deep roots. They withstand the stresses of life, and they keep growing and progressing.” – Stephen R. Covey.
So often we think our appearance, talents, techniques, knowledge and skills are what people see as success, the real source of “attraction” and effectiveness lies in strong character.
Let me ask you a question. Think of a yoga class you attended. What do you remember about the teacher? 🤔
Usually, your experience is not about achieving some pose, but it’s the character and the personality of the teacher that attracts you, that brings you back.
When people ask you “What do you teach?” Instead of saying, “I teach Hatha and Vinyasa class.” Or “I teach beginners”, a mission statement tells people who you are as a yoga teacher. It’s where you show your CHARACTER. It’s what makes you STAND OUT. 👊
