BTS – Cora as a Student

I can’t emphasize how vital is it is for a yoga teacher to continue to be a student and practice with other experienced teachers.

Last weekend instead of teaching my normal weekend classes, I immersed myself into 2 whole days to be a student.

I’ve attended a 12-hour back bending workshop with senior teacher @yogiarun.

𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. 🙏

It’s important for us to continue to learn and going to classes is the source of our inspiration and research.

But there is more than learning.

𝗔𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲-𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗱.

2 days of the workshop — I should be physically tired! 😩

Yes, I am, but to be honest with you, teaching yoga is always more tiring than practicing yoga.

Yes, my hamstrings are tired after the 2 days, but when it comes to energy?

I am sure Teacher Arun is way more tired than any other students who have done x many times of lunges in 2 days.

I am so grateful to be practicing with other yoga teachers and students, experimenting with poses, learning about our bodies, figuring out advanced poses.

𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘨𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰.💖

Another magic is when you get a good assist from some skillful hands.

Thank you, Arun!
