Alignment Fundamental Series
It’s officially February! 🥳
Even though 2023 has already started, many of us were still slowly returning to practice after December, and some just started after the Chinese New Year!
No matter how things go, this is the time of the year when I start starting GROUND UP. Foundation. Fundamentals.
Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you can’t skip the fundamentals.
👉 Downward Facing Dog
👉 Trikonasana
👉 Basic Twists
👉 Basic Backbends
Fundamentals never get old, whether it’s revisiting them and renewing them after a break or allowing the body to gradually return and reset after a break.
Setting big goals and doing big things is often the vibe at the beginning of the year, which makes it easy to rush things and skip the basics.
Never skip the basics. 🙌
It’s tempting to skip the basics and get to the fun and fancy stuff.
If you are new to yoga, here is a message for you,
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿.
And if you are a seasoned practitioner,
𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁.
So here we go, February Alignment will be based on 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀.
Poses that ANY and EVERY yoga practitioner would and should practice.
We will learn them, relearn them, refine them, and renew them.
